The NASCAR Cup Series returns to Michigan International Speedway this Sunday for the 2025 FireKeepers Casino 400. Historically, the track has seen dominance from a trio of familiar names — Kevin Harvick, Kyle Larson, and Joey Logano — who have collectively won 10 of the last 14 races at the two-mile oval.
With excitement building, fans and bettors alike are eyeing the odds ahead of the race. After Denny Hamlin entered last week’s race in Nashville as the favorite at +400, it was Ryan Blaney — at +800 — who captured his first win of the season. This week, all eyes turn to Larson, who has already secured three wins in the 2025 season and enters Michigan as the betting favorite at +525.
Below are the current odds for the top contenders (subject to change):
Joey Logano emerges as a sleeper pick despite his +1600 odds. The defending Cup Series champion has already secured a victory earlier this season in Texas and is working hard to climb further in the standings, currently sitting eighth after a strong fourth-place finish in Nashville.
SportsLine’s Stephen Taranto remains a name to watch among NASCAR betting experts. In 2024, he correctly called 17 winners, including longshots like William Byron at Daytona (16-1) and Chase Elliott in Texas (14-1). Notably, he also predicted Kyle Larson’s victory at the Straight Talk Wireless 400 on March 23.
NASCAR fans can place their championship bets through the BetMGM sportsbook. The final race of the Cup Series — the Championship Race — is slated for November 2 at Phoenix Raceway in Avondale, Arizona.
The green flag for the 2025 FireKeepers Casino 400 drops at 2 p.m. ET this Sunday, promising another dramatic chapter in NASCAR’s summer slate at Michigan International Speedway.
